Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using this website or engaging Robbie's Towing for any towing, recovery, or roadside assistance services. 2. Services

Scope of Services

  • Emergency towing — wheel-lift and flatbed
  • Flatbed towing for luxury, exotic, AWD, 4WD, EV, and low-clearance vehicles
  • Long distance towing — cross-Michigan and out-of-state transport
  • Amazon van, Sprinter, Transit, and small box truck towing
  • Jump start service and mobile battery assistance
  • Vehicle lockout service — no-damage entry for all vehicle types
  • Flat tire change and spare mounting
  • Emergency fuel delivery (gas and diesel)
  • Winch-out and vehicle recovery — snow, mud, ditches

Service Limitations

Robbie's Towing specializes in light and medium-duty towing and recovery only. We do not handle semi-trucks, tractor-trailers, heavy-duty commercial vehicles, dump trucks, buses, or other heavy-duty big-rig recoveries. Customers with such vehicles should contact a dedicated heavy-duty recovery specialist. We reserve the right to decline service for vehicles outside our light/medium-duty scope.

Service Availability

Services are available across Macomb County, Oakland County, and the surrounding Metro Detroit area 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Service availability in specific areas may vary based on truck availability and conditions. We reserve the right to decline service in areas outside our service zone or in circumstances where service cannot be safely or appropriately performed.

Dispatch and Response

We make every reasonable effort to dispatch to your location promptly and to honor ETAs communicated at the time of booking. In the event of unforeseen circumstances — such as severe Michigan weather (heavy snow, ice, storms), traffic incidents, road closures, or unusually high call volume — we will notify you as soon as possible and provide an updated ETA.

3. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes provided by Robbie's Towing are estimates based on the information you provide (service type, vehicle type, location, and tow destination). Final pricing may vary if additional circumstances are discovered upon arrival — such as vehicle positioning requiring special equipment, additional mileage beyond the quoted distance, or conditions that require non-standard recovery procedures.

We will inform you of any price changes before performing the work. You are under no obligation to proceed if pricing changes are unacceptable to you. Upfront pricing is confirmed before we hook up or begin any service.

4. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a safe and successful service call, customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your location, vehicle (year, make, model, drivetrain type), and the nature of the issue
  • Remain with or accessible at the vehicle location until our driver arrives, or notify us if you must leave
  • Ensure the vehicle is accessible and that our driver can safely approach the service location
  • Follow all safety instructions provided by our driver, including staying clear of traffic on highway or freeway shoulders (M-59, I-75, M-53, M-3, Van Dyke, I-696, etc.)
  • Notify us promptly if you need to cancel or if conditions at your location change before our arrival
  • Provide accurate tow destination information, including shop name and address
  • Disclose whether your vehicle is AWD, 4WD, EV, or has low ground clearance so we can dispatch the appropriate equipment
  • Disclose if your vehicle is an Amazon van, Sprinter, work van, or box truck so we can confirm we have the right equipment

Robbie's Towing is not responsible for delays or complications arising from inaccurate location or vehicle information provided by the customer.

5. Vehicle Condition and Release

By requesting towing or recovery service, you represent that you are the owner of the vehicle or are authorized by the owner to arrange for towing. You agree that Robbie's Towing may move the vehicle to the destination you specify.

We take reasonable care in loading, transporting, and unloading your vehicle. However, Robbie's Towing is not responsible for pre-existing damage or mechanical conditions present before the tow. Our drivers will note any visible pre-existing damage before loading.

For flatbed towing, customers acknowledge that AWD, 4WD, EV, and low-clearance vehicles must be transported on a flatbed to avoid drivetrain or undercarriage damage, and agree to disclose their vehicle's drivetrain configuration when requesting service.

6. Winch-Out and Recovery Services

Winch-out and recovery services involve additional considerations, particularly during Michigan winters or on soft ground. For these services:

  • Winch-out and recovery services are provided for light and medium-duty vehicles only(cars, SUVs, vans, Amazon vans, work vans, and small box trucks). We do not perform heavy-duty, semi-truck, or tractor-trailer recoveries.
  • Customers must provide accurate information about the vehicle's position, terrain conditions, and any hazards present at the recovery site
  • Recovery of vehicles in deep snow, mud, water, or extreme off-camber positions may require additional equipment and time, which may affect pricing
  • Some recovery locations may be inaccessible to standard tow equipment; we will inform you if we cannot safely reach your vehicle before dispatch
  • The customer acknowledges that vehicle recovery from challenging terrain may result in minor scuffs or cosmetic wear that is unavoidable given the conditions; we take reasonable care to minimize this
  • Recovery from private property or closed areas requires the customer to confirm legal access to the location

7. Payment

Payment for services is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept major forms of payment as communicated by our dispatch team at time of service. Pricing is confirmed upfront before work begins. Invoices for completed service are available upon request.

In the event of a disputed charge, please contact us directly at (586) 804-8007 within a reasonable time frame and we will work to resolve the issue promptly.

8. Limitation of Liability

Robbie's Towing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the services provided or the use of this website, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, or damage to property not directly caused by our negligence.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of services performed shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
